How does Boomy or its distributor work to fight bad actors and prevent streaming manipulation?

We are categorically against any form of artificial streaming. Boomy has built a robust delivery, royalty review, and user management system that allows us to effectively respond to digital service providers’ (DSPs) notices of manipulation activity. For example, if a DSP flags a song’s Universal Product Code, a.k.a. its ‘musical barcode’, for artificial streaming, Boomy maintains the ability to freeze payments, block users, and prevent access to the Boomy platform across devices. Boomy has also worked with leading anti-streaming-fraud providers to provide an AI solution to the issue of streaming manipulation.

While Boomy currently only offers limited distribution to select users, use of any Boomy content for illicit purposes such as streaming manipulation continues to be a violation of our Terms of Use.
